Post war the aircraft became N50576 and in 1971 was re-registered as N747Q. Bought by its current owner in May 2012, the aircraft underwent a thorough restoration over three years and made its first post restoration flight in April 2024. Painted in the striking 'Recall' scheme used by the US Navy basic training bases during WW2 to indicate trainee pilots to return to base in the event of an emergency.
