although it's the Bolivian summer, there is snow on the ground at El Alto. CP-1953 didn't survive very long in the harsh Bolivian environment, delivered in 1988 she suffered a mishap in December 1990 while landing at San Ignacio de Velasco. Not being able to stop, she overran and came to rest in a swamp. All survived but the DC-6 was damaged beyond repair and later served as a house. (photographer not known)
