The former G-ASJH is seen here after preparation for a new carrier in California, soon after the demise of Laker. Pacific Express intended to offer high frequency, low fare service in the LA-SFO corridor, but PSA objected as they used that name for their small package service. Flights were however operated to 22 cities in California and the Northwest, latterly as Pan Am Pacific Express, till bankruptcy in 2.84
