With Conmemorative marking "50 Años del Vuelo Tricontinental" The "50th Anniversary of the Tricontinental Flight" in 2023 commemorates the anniversary of the Argentine Air Force's (FAA) historic first transpolar trans-Antarctic tricontinental flight in December 1973, a feat accomplished by the C-130 Hercules T-66 that linked the Americas, Antarctica, and Australia, opening a pioneering route connecting three continents.
