Joint development with Rockwell as the Commander 700. This is the prototype. It first flew as JQ5001 in 1975. Later reregistered as JA5258. Preserved at the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences, Narita by 1989. 49 aircraft were built before the project was terminated.
