A general PMI's North apron overview that unfortunately won't be possible anymore. On September 28th, 2004 the old ATC tower was demolished 44 years after its construction in 1960, in order to allow the handling of forthcoming traffic to the then new Mallorca airport: Son Sant Joan. Its original use was terminated in 1987 and lately it only was giving shelter to some communications equipment and small offices for several airport services.
