These Beavers are being prepared for casualty evacuation following the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu. 52-6151 was delivered to the USAF in September 1953, into storage. To US Army in February 1954, then to French army, apparently arriving in Indochina in April. Transferred to a French air force unit in November 1954. Returned to USAF in 1957 and supplied to the Thai army. Still in service at Lop Buri in 1980, and preserved in museum there.
