Twenty-seven Chip,umks were delivered to the Royal Danish Air Force between 1950 to 1953 and mainly based at Avnoe for basic training. The sixteen surviving airframes were sold for civilian use in 1976. This example was delivered in June 1953 as 12-143 but later given the new serial P-143. After retirement in March 1977 it was used for ground instruction at the Flyvevabnets Konstabelskole. The plane was registered as OY-FLV in May 2003 and joined the Dansk Veteranflysamling (Danish Collection of Vintage Aircraft). This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
