This Tiger Moth was Taken on Charge by the RAF as DE164 in 1942. After September 1953 it flew from Croydon Airport as G-ANCY in 1953, and fom May 1955 it flew with a couple of aeroclubs in Belgium and privately as OO-DLA but crashed in October 1975. From May 1979 the plane was based in Denmark, eventually becoming part of the Dansk Veteranflysamling (Danish Collection of Vintage Aircraft). The plane is still airworthy but on display in the Danmarks Flymuseum when I visited. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
