Shortly before the wings were cut off to facilitate transport by road to Blackpool (Squires Gate) for Reflectaire Ltd. The museum came to naught but the derelict and water-damaged hulk of G-AEXF was bought at auction by Tom Storey and Martin Barraclough who recreated it.
