This UH-1H Huey with serial 70-15747 is a recent addition to this excellent museum in Vientiane, Laos. The aircraft was delivered to South Vietnam and is seen here in fake US Air Force colours. The sign reads: "It was manufactured by Bell Company (USA) in 1970. This type of aircraft was used by the US and Lao puppet armies in many major campaigns such as Road 9 - Southern Laos Campaign, 1971; Muong Sui - Plain of Jars Campaign, 1971-1972; Xieng Khuang - Plain of Jars Campaign, 1972.
