The J-2 Polonez, an amateur sports aircraft, was designed in the 1970s by Jarosław Janowski as a further development of the J-1 "Prząśniczka." Based on published plans, more than a dozen aircraft were built in Poland (usually with Trabant engines) and several abroad. One of them was a significantly modified J-2B aircraft, built in the 1980s by Andrzej Fiuk and first flown in 1992. The aircraft was purchased for the Museum's collection in 2022.
