Arriving for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025. This aircraft was built at Dallas in 1943. It was assigned RAF s/n EZ138 and shipped to the SAAF in 1944. It served with the Gabon Presidential Guard as TR-KFB from 1970-89. It returned to the SAAF where it served from 1989-95, last being flown by Central Flying School Langebaanweg before being sold into private hands in the USA. The trainer is now painted to represent a US Navy SNJ. This photo is copyright © Arjun Sarup, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
