Built by Aeronca at Lunken Airport, Cincinnati Ohio in 1936. The aircraft was first owned by Henry E. Cunning, an early pioneer of the airmail service known as Mansfield, Ohio's "Flying Postman". By 1961 due to problems with the wooden wing spar the aircraft was grounded and stored until restored to fly again in 2018 when it won the Antique Reserve Grand Champion Silver Lindy award at Oshkosh. It was donated to the Kelch Aviation Museum in 2024. This photo is copyright © Tim Spearman, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
