This Yak-40 was originally delivered to the Bulgarian Government (operated by Balkan in their scheme) in the Salon VIP configurration in 1971 and was transferred over to Hemus Air in 1986. Subsequently it went on to also fly (on lease) with East West European, Trans Sahel, Bellview Airline, Nova Composit and Albanian before being wfu by Hemus in 2006.
