The tarpan is an extinct wild horse. First flown in 1961, the M-4 was designed as a civilian trainer, but its series production for the Polish Aero Club was cancelled due to excessive costs. The second prototype, SP-PAK was used by the club in Mielec for some time. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
