Waiting for its turn to demonstrate its skills at the Försvarsmaktens Flygdag 2019 at Ronneby, is F/A-18C Hornet HN-446 of the Ilmavoimat - the Finnish Air Force. With its folding wings and sturdy undercarriage it is clear this aircraft was originally developed to operate from aircraft carriers. The Finnish Air Force operates the Hornet with two squadrons based at Rovaniemi and Kuopio air bases, which are both multifunctional.
