Waiting for its turn to demonstrate its skills at the Danish Air Show 2018 at Aalborg, is F/A-18C Hornet HN-435 of the Ilmavoimat - the Finnish Air Force. With its wings folded and sturdy undercarriage it is clear this aircraft was originally developed to operate from aircraft carriers. The Finnish Air Force operates the Hornet with two squadrons based at Rovaniemi and Kuopio air bases, which are both multifunctional.
