TLG 31 is known as the Boelcke Geschwader, named after Oswald Boelcke, a fighter ace of WW I fame and named as the father of the German fighter air force. The EF-2000s of this unit carry the crest with red wings and a sword on the tail. TLG 31 Eurofighter with serial 3133 is seen here at its homebase Nörvenich.
