TLG 71 is known as the Richthofen Geschwader, named after baron Von Richthofen, a fighter ace of WW I fame. The EF-2000s of this unit carry the stylish red "R" in a white crest, usually beneath the cockpit. Serial 3012 is one of older German EF-2000s, actually the sixth one, and is seen here at its homebase.
