The triple two was first noted as 48-89 with 98°Gruppo in mid-1980. It became 46-89 with Aeritalia at Napoli in 1986 and was moved to the Italian Experimental Flight Regiment (Reparto Sperimentale di Volo) as RS-34 in late 1986. Swapped code to RS-46 in early 1989 (as pictured). Sadly, the G222 crashed as such on 22 August 1991. It crashed near San Maria Infante (Latina, Italy) floowing a propable left-engine fire.
