Built as a DC-8-61. Damaged by fire on the production line in 1966. Repaired and delivered to United Air Lines as N8072U in 1968. Converted to a DC-8-71 in 1984. To Lineas Aereas Paraguayas in 1991 then to Translift Airways as EI-TLD in 1992. To Aero USA as N500MH in 1993. Converted to a DC-8-71(F) freighter then to Emery Worldwide Airlines in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM when they ceased operations in 2001. Still there in 2005. Scrapped.
