In 1925 the Danish Government notified Hawker that they would order three Woodcock aircraft provided certain improvements were carried out. This resulted in Sydney Camm making minor changes to the wings and cockpit area and the Danecock was born. Three aircraft were delivered in February 1926 and the Danes obtained a licence to produce 12 more, named the Dankok. This Dankok is the only surviving example. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
