This Airbus EC 135 P2+ was built in 2008 and sold to PHI Health Inc. which operates the air ambulance on behalf of the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin. The helicopter is based at a hangar and heliport behind the hospital next to the Fax River which runs through the town of Neenah. The hospital has operated EC135s since the early 2000s. This photo was taken in the afternoon from a bridge over the Fox River as the helicopter was returning from a mission. Neenah is 13 miles north of Oshkosh, WI. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
