These original titles on the tailboom, "Force Navale Belge", were later replaced by just Marine. M-2 made its acceptance flight at Marignane on 11 Mar'71. It was delivered to homebase Koksijde on 18 Mar'71. M-2 crashed near Kortrijk on 7 Sep'79 when it was used for paradrops. The helicopter sustained serious damage to the tailboom but was repaired at Koksijde. It was again involved in an accident on 18 Jul'80 after a collision with a truck during the Open Door at Koksijde. Again repaired.
