MBB built, batch 3 Tornado flew first on 21 June 1983 and was delivered to the Luftwaffe on 7 September 1983. It was immediately assigned to Jagdbombergeschwader 31. During ist operational career, it flew also with JBG32, possibly JBG38, and AG51. The Tor was withdrawn from use at Jever air base (Germany) in April 2006 and was scrapped by late 2006.
