Although this is an old C-130H, it did not belong to the first batch of C-130Hs delivered to France between 1987 and 1992. This is one of two ex Zaire AF C-130Hs that went to France in 1997 when Zaire was renamed the DRC (together with 4588). When this photo was taken in 2025, the aircraft was exactly 50 years old.
