This Hind-D was manufactured in 1981 and after delivery to the Czechoslovak AF was based at Prostějov and Pilsen. It was decommissioned relatively soon in March 1995 and transferred to the Univerzita obrany (University of Defence) in Brno as an instructional airframe. This meant it was preserved in its period camouflage, which other Mi-24s usually lost during overhaul. After the Univerzita obrany acquired a more modern Mi-24V for its teaching, 0151 was decomissioned to became part of the reserve collection of VHÚ (the Czech military history institute) and is now on display at Studenec.
