Built in 1963, this aircraft served with 801, 736 and 803 NAS before transferring to the RAE and then RRE. In 1976, it was moved to Brough for ground instruction, later displayed at Castle Donnington, and finally relocated to Newark in 1988. Restored to its original 736 NAS markings, it notably took part in bombing the SS Torrey Canyon in 1967 to help limit an environmental disaster This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
