Beautifully restored in its original 23 Sqdn markings as flown from December 1955 at RAF Coltishall and Horsham St Faith, this is the only genuine RAF Venom preserved worldwide. In 1957 it was issued to RAF Yatesbury as a ground instructional airframe and later joined the RAF Museum Reserve Collection, being held for many years at RAF Henlow before being acquired by the Newark museum in 1989 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
