This Canberra flew with 207 and 35 Sqdn from 1954. Selected as one of nine B.2s to be converted to T.11 for training radar operators destined for the Gloster Javelin, it had the nose of WH651 fitted with A.I. radar. Following a brief period at 228 OCU, it joined the Target Facilities Squadron at West Raynham, redesignated as 85 Sqdn in 1963 and relocated to Binbrook. It underwent further modification to T.19 and later operated with 7 Sqdn at St Mawgan before retirement in 1979. After being sold to BAC for potential export, donated to Newark in 1985 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
