Recently put on show after restoration in original RCAF markings as operated at Medicine Hat, Alberta, this Harvard was built as 42-14217 but was delivered to the RAF in Canada in 1943, being transferred to the RCAF next year. Between 1949 and 1962 it operated as B-163 with the R Netherlands AF. After becoming increasingly derelict in storage, it was shipped to the UK in 1986 and was displayed at several places before ending up at Newark in 2010 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
