Displaying in the afternoon at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024. Built in 1963, this aircraft is powered by a 400 hp Lycoming IO-720-A1B engine. The 'schoolbus' has Snoopy characters across the left side of the fuselage and tail. The type was designed by Al Mooney as a utility aircraft, but Lockheed could not build it at an economic cost in the USA. The aircraft was licence-built in Mexico, Argentina, Italy and South Africa. Around 180 were built in all. This photo is copyright © Arjun Sarup, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
