The freshly assembled VH-KAN at Bankstown where importer Kingsford Smith Flying Services was based. KAN was sold to the Lutheran Mission at Madang, Papua New Guinea ,and crashed on August 6, 1951 in rugged terrain between Madang and Goroka.
