VH-ADL was still registered VH-ADA and based at the former Maylands aerodrome in Perth when it was fitted with a canopy.. It appears to have come from a CAC Wackett trainer. ADA was compulsory reregistered VH-ADL in 1948. It was sold to a Sydney owner in 1949. On August 10, 1954 while participating in the Redex Reliability Air Trial it crashed at Renner Springs, Northern Territory.
