About to touch down on Runway 30 for a fuel stop on its transatlantic delivery flight to TezJet at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Carries the inscription "The Last Mad Dog Dec - 1999" as the final MD-83 off the production line in December 1999. Initially a Trans World Airlines aircraft, transferred to the American Airlines fleet in 2001. Withdrawn from service in 2019. Now reactivated from storage at Roswell, New Mexico, refurbished and repainted for its new Kyrgyzstan operator. This photo is copyright © David A.
