This aircraft was written off after it crashed shortly after take-off from Old Park Farm, Port Talbot, Glamorgan, on 15th April 2012 due to a loss of engine power, and the registration was cancelled on 18th May 2012. It was officially registered as a Rans S6-116 Super Coyote, but the official accident report described it as a Rans S6-116 Coyote II.
