This aircraft is officially registered as a J3C-65, but was originally built as L-4A serial 42-15318 for the US Army. Post WWII it remained in Europe and was civilianised in Switzerland as HB-OAD in 1947, sold to West Germany as D-EJAF in June 1956 before coming to the UK in June 1981.
