The service life of this 'Sled' saw it assigned to the 77th TFS/20th TFW at RAF Wethersfield, 50th TFW at Hahn AB, West Germany, 4510th CCTW at Luke AFB, AZ, 309th TFS/31st TFW at Tuy Hoa AB, S Vietnam, 35th TFW at Phang Rang AB, S Vietnam and 131st TFS/104th TFG MA ANG. After withdrawal in 1978 it was placed on a pedestal at Otis AFB, MA where it deteriorated over the years. Moved to the museum in December 2010, restoration was completed in 2017.
