B-52s were stationed at Robins AFB from 1961-1983 with the 19th BW. The aircraft now on display there flew combat sorties in Southeast Asia with the 99th BW from Andersen AB, Guam in 1968 and again from 1972 to 1973, flying missions in Operation Linebacker II. It also participated in the 1971 SAC Bombing & Navigation Competition at McCoy AFB (now the Orlando International Airport).
