Delivered to Eastern Air Lines as N838D in 1958. To other operators from 1966. To TBM in 1973 and converted to a firebomber then to Butler Aircraft in 2004 and Erickson Aero Tanker in 2012. Last flight from Medford, OR to Madras, OR in 2020 and preserved at the Erickson Aircraft Collection. Was the last active DC-7.
