On 27th February 2001, at around 1730 hrs, this aircraft ditched into the Firth of Forth, soon after departure from Edinburgh Airport. This aircraft was used by Loganair but was operating a charter flight to Belfast for the Royal Mail. There were two crew on board but no passengers.
