"... and kill... Super Sabres", 76-0113 was delivered to the USAF on 24 April 1978. Following assignments to the 49th TFW ('HO'), 1st TFW ('FF'), this 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Langley AFB (VA), again the 49th TFW and the 154th Wing ('HH), the Eagle was assigned to the 159th FW ('JZ'). It was moved to the 309th AMARG on 24 Sep'08 and received inventory code FH0196. The 48th FIS 'Taz Langlian Devils" received the first F-15A/B's on 14 Aug'81 replacing the F-106 Delta Dart. The squadron was deactivated on 30 Sep'91.
