The first USAF fighters based at Soesterberg. The 32nd Fighter Day Squadron had just been activated here in October 1954. The unit began to receive the F-100C less than a year later, the F-102A in 1960, the F-4E in 1969, the F-15A in 1978, and the F-15C in 1980. The 32nd was inactivated in 1994. 52-5276 supplied to the Spanish air force in 1957.
