Originally built as Piper L-18C serial 51-15626 and supplied to the French Army under the Mutual Defense Aid Program. The aircraft was damaged in an landing accident at a farm airstrip at Stoke St Mary, Somerset, on 29th December 1983 and cancelled by the CAA as withdrawn from use on 30th July 1984.
