This former USAF Albatross, 51-7186, was retired in 1968 and became part of the US Air Force Museum loan program. Spending time first with the Confederate Air Force Museum, it moved to various other places and was registered N4478E in 1984. Restored to flying condition sometime around 2000, it's pictured at Oshkosh in a distinctively non-warbird color scheme.
