G-AETK was flown by D.H. Test Pilot R. J. "Bob" Waight and finished 9th at 230.5 mph, Ken Waller came 12th in the D.H.88 Comet G-ACSS. Waight was killed in the T.K.4 when it crashed at Hatfield on 1 October 1937 during practice for an attempt on the 100km class record.
