Delivered to the USAF as SA-16B 51-7209 in 1953. To the US Coast Guard as UF-1G 7209. Redesignated as an HU-16E in 1962. Preserved at Luke AFB with fake markings 10047 from 1978. Flown from Luke AFB to McClellan AFB in a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy in 1988 and preserved at the Aerospace Museum of California there. Repainted in USCG markings as 7209.
