Almost unbelievably this is a single seat 1/3 scale B-17 though I initially thought that it was simply a very large radio controlled aircraft. Built by Jack Bally it took 17 years and an estimated 40,000 man-hours to build. It was designed from scaled-up plans for a 1/9 scale radio controlled model aircraft.
