The Deperdussin Monocoque was a successful early racing aircraft built in 1912 by the Aéroplanes Deperdussin, a French aircraft manufacturer founded in 1911 and later reorganized into Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD). This beautiful replica is on display at this super museum. The plane wears F1 on the upper wings.
